I have a few more cards to share. I have 2 more birthday cards and 1 mother's day easel card.
The first one is a birthday card for a boy.
The image is a digi stamp from the "Party Animal" collection by Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. The sentiment, as well as the pennants flags, comes from the "Party Pennants" stamp set by Close to my Heart. I added a few dew drops in the corner. For the pennant, I stamped one image, then stamped it again directly above the other image, cut it out and folded it over some hemp cord. Then I hung it with a couple of star brads. I added a candle border using my candle border punch. The paper is from the Birthday Extravaganza pack by the Paper Studio.
I used my copics to color the image. I added some texture paint for the frosting and added some stickles to the flames.
The next card is a birthday card for a girl.
The image for this is a digi stamp from All That Scraps. The sentiment comes from the "It's Your Day" stamp set from Close to my Heart. The paper is from the Party Time stack by My Mind's Eye.
I colored the image with copics. I pop dotted the balloons for dimension. I added the texture paint for frosting and stickled the flame and her wings.
The last on is a Mother's Day card.
The stamp is a Tilda from Magnolia. Again, the coloring is with copics. The paper is the Wild Raspberry stack from K&Company.
I made this as a round easel card. I don't remember where I got the stamp for the sentiment.
Here is the flower. I made it with ribbon and added a brad to the middle. I learned how to make this flower from Little Birdie Secrets.
I hope to get to another scrapbook layout done in the next couple days so until then....have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Birthday Cards
First of all, I want to give a big thank you to my followers. I have only had my blog going for a few weeks so the fact that I am up to 20 followers is surprising to me. Thank you all again and I hope you can find some ideas and inspiration here. If anyone has any suggestions at all on what I can do to improve my blog, please send me a message!
On to my project: I wanted to get these on here sooner but boy has it been a busy week! I have some birthday cards that I made by request.
The stamp for this one comes from the "Henry the Mouse" collection from Whiff of Joy. I used copic markers to color him. I didn't even think about leaving the colors out so I could post what I used...sorry! I used texture paint on the cupcake with a little bit of copic ink mixed in it to make it orange. Then I added small beads for the sprinkles. The paper is the "Party Time" stack by Min Mind's Eye.
The stamp for this one is from the "Changito" collection by Stampendous. Again, I used copics for the coloring.
This one I did using the "Smiley Cards" cartridge on the gypsy. Instead of using the ribbon cut, I added real ribbon.
This one was a very simple card. The paper is "Birthday Extravaganza" paper pack by The Paper Studio. The stamps are all from Close to my Heart. The cake and gift stamps are from the "It's Your Day" stamp set and the Words "Hip, Hip, Hooray is from the "Card Chatter-Birthday" set.

Cricut Craft Room Blog Hop
We are all anxiously waiting for the release of the Cricut Craft Room. I have the design studio and I cannot wait for this to be released. From the things I am hearing about it, it is going to be an awesome program. While we are all waiting, Karin over at Scrapper Creations is hosting a blog hop. Here is a project I made for the blog hop.
I plan on using the Craft Room to do a lot of welding! I love my Gypsy, but I find the screen is a little small for me to work with. I am hoping that the Craft Room will have a lot of the same features as the Gypsy and even more! Thanks for looking and I cannot wait to see what we can all do with the Cricut Craft Room!
I used the Cricut "Create a Critter" cartridge on this one. |

Nuts about you
I had a wonderful Easter and I hope everyone else did also. It was a beautiful day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! We had an easter egg hunt, colored eggs, and then had a lovely Easter dinner. My youngest is getting old enough that I don't know how much longer we will be doing the Easter egg hunts. I sure will miss it. He is growing up so fast.
Well enough of that...
Here is a layout I completed for a sketch challenge at ScrapperCreations. If you would like to give it a try, the submissions are due in by May 13th.
I have a few birthday cards to work on so those will probably be the next projects I post. Also, within the next few days I think I am going to start listing some of layouts, cards, and other projects I have done on Etsy. As soon as I do, I will put a link on here.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Here is a layout I completed for a sketch challenge at ScrapperCreations. If you would like to give it a try, the submissions are due in by May 13th.
The paper is the "Twitterpated" level 2 paper pack from Close to my Heart. The pattern for the squirrels is from the "Twitterpated" collection by Little Scraps of Heaven. |
I stamped the "Twitterpated" and then embossed it with white embossing powder. The stamp is from the "State of Mind" set from Close to my Heart. |
The tag is stamped using "Card Chatter-Love" from Close to my Heart. |
A close up of the squirrels. I added a ribbon on the girl's head. |
I used some chipboard letters for the word "Nuts" and cut pieces of paper and wrote about you. |
I added a couple gem hearts on the ribbon. |
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Jesus Loves Me
I am so excited I just have to share....I made it as a Design Team member over at ScrapperCreations. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should do so. It is a wonderful place to get inspiration, chat, and just get to know other crafters!:) I have a layout that I just completed as my 1st project as a design team member and also for a sketch challenge that is going on right now over at Little Scraps of Heaven's Facebook fanpage. I have done so many bunny pages for Easter I wanted to do one for the true reason of Easter....Jesus. Jesus truly loves us...even in our sin.
On to the details: I used the "Sophia" level 2 paper pack from Close to My heart. The paper piecing patterns come from....you guessed it....Little Scraps of Heaven.
The buttons also come from Close to my Heart's pink button collection. |
The flower I made using the Sizzix 3-d flower die. I added a few drops of Liquid glass for water droplets. |
I used stickles on the tops of the socks as well as the hearts in the title. |
I tied ribbon for bows in her hair and used the I-rock to add gems for earrings and also as jewels on her shoes. |
Thanks for looking and may God Bless you this Easter!
Beauty
I really intended to get another project on here before now but I have been a little under the weather. I did finally get a 1 page layout done today. I used a sketch from here. I am sorry I can't even tell you what paper it was....I just raided my scrap drawer. I have so many scraps and this looked like a good sketch to use some of them. |
The butterfly is cut from the Hanna Montanna cricut cartridge. I layered it so I could make the wings stand up. I used jewels for the body and wire for the antenna. |
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful Thursday!

Buckaroo Birthday Card
Does anyone else have the problem that no matter how much paper you have....you still can't find the right shade? I tell you I am the queen of paper and I still cannot seem to find the right shade of a color when I need it. I spend a good hour just trying to find a shade to match! And then half the time, if I find the shade I need, I only have 1 sheet! Oh well, I guess that is my excuse to buy more:)
Well on to my project....I haven't posted any cards yet so here is a birthday card I made for my son to give to a friend. I used the Old West Cartridge for the belt buckle, the pocket, the title, and the Happy Birthday Tag. I used brads on the belt.

Divalicious
Wow! Did I have fun making this one. I love making the girly layouts but unfortunately I don't know what to do with them since I have 2 boys!
At the bottom of the 2 photo mats I used ribbon and a button to embellish it. The buttons also come from Close to my Heart. |
I used flowers with a brad in the middle for the photo "folders". At the top left I stamped some flowers and added some jewels with my I-Rock |
I used glossy accents on the eyes, noses, and on the bears purse where it looks like beads. |
I used Ranger's liquid pearls to make the pearl cut look more "pearly". |
The folder opens for more pictures or journaling. |
I added stickles to the top of her socks and also added some jewels to her shoes. I added Petaloo flowers to her dress and I tied some ribbon for her bow. |
I attached a couple of tags by tying them together, looping ribbon through it, and then stapling the ribbon to the bracket. |

Lil' Chickadee
The butterfly is from the Create a Critter cartridge. I added a second layer to give it a 3-D effect. I used stickles on the wings and I used wire for the antenna's. |
Here is embossed the egg. I layered the grass withe 3 layers with pop dots between 2 of the layers to give it dimension. The grass is also cut from the Create a Critter Cartridge. |
The flowers with the gems in the center are by Petaloo. I bought the other ones from a catalog which escapes my memory right now. |
