Best Friend Forever

Here is a cute layout I made using the "Girly Girls" collection from Treasure Box Designs.

The blue with pink flowers and the stripe paper are from BoBunny.  The green background and the yellow floral on the photo mat I printed from the Cricut Imagine Cartridge "Blossom".  The colors matched perfectly!

Close up of the girls.  I added flowers to her pig tails and jewels for earrings.
Close up of photo mat, with flowers and brads.  I used a flower button, tied ribbon through it, and tied it around the ribbon on my photo mat.

Close up of Title.  I used jewels to "jazz" up my letters.

I was really happy how this turned out.  My best friend and I made this one together:)  Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend wherever you are:)

Pint Sized Patriot

Well we are so close to Independence Day I thought this one would be good:)

I don't know the name of the paper stack.  The top cover got ripped off.  I do know though that it came from one of those all season stacks and I believe I bought it at Hobby Lobby.  The paper piecing patterns for this comes from the Patriotic Collection from Treasure Box Designs.

Daddy's Lil' Princess

I was going to post this sooner, but it has been so busy around here!  My son is having his birthday this week and last night he wanted to have 7.....YES....7 of his friends stay the night!  They were up until 4 a.m. and now I am totally exhausted!  Even my son said that would be the last time he had 7 friends stay the night at one time:)

Here is a layout I made using the "Dad is our Super Hero" set from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

The paper is from the "Sophia level 2 paper pack" from Close to my Heart.  I added ribbon and flowers on the photo mats.  I stitched the borders and the photo mats.  I used Ranger liquid pearls along the scalloped border.  On the title, I added a couple of metallic dew drops.  The tag and word "Princess" is from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge.  I added ribbon to the little girl bear's head and around her dress.

My Angel

Boy has it been a BUSY week.  I don't know which way I am going!!!  But....I have managed to get some scrapbooking done:)  Here is a 1-page layout I made.
The paper I used for this came from Close to my Heart.  It was a special they had so they don't carry it anymore.  The angel bears come from "Fairy Bears Collection" at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.   The title I cut using the Once Upon a Princess cartridge.  I added liquid pearls around the circle.  I added a strip of ribbon and adhered some flowers with glue dots to the photo mat.  I added flowers and brads along the side.  I don't remember the kinds of flowers...they were various brands and I have them all sorted in jars by color.
Close up of sitting bear.  I used some jewels for the centers of their headband.
Close up of Peeking Angel Bear.  For their wings I used glitter paper.

Close up of Title.  I used stickles glitter glue on the halo.
This layout is listed on E-bay so go check it out!:)
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my project.  Have a wonderful week!

Erica's Craft Room Blog Hop

Erica over at My Cricut Craft Room is hosting a 100+ Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop!  The hop will be from June 3-6th.  I hope you are able to hop along with us as we look at projects made with over 100 Cricut Cartridges!  If you came from Jen's blog you are on the right track.  If not, you can go back to Erica's blog and start from the beginning.

For my projects, I used the following Cartridges:

Pooh and Friends, Pooh Font, Create a Critter, Once Upon a Princess, and Boys Will be Boys.

Here is my 1st layout:
For this layout I used the Flower Shower Spring Stack from DCWV.  Here is a list of the sizes everything was cut at:
  • The Sun:        I forgot to write it down:(
  • The Tree:       8"
  • The Sign:       3"
  • Piglet:            5"
  • Pooh:            6"
  • Bees:            1/2" and 3/4"
  • Branch with Beehive:  5 1/2"
  • Tigger:          3 1/2"
  • Title:             2"

Close up of Tigger.  I hid his chin underneath the photo mat. I also cut off his paws and pop dotted them.

For my second project, this is a layout using Create a Critter.

The paper comes from DCWV's Pet Stack.  For the dogs, I used the base with no cut marks.  I cut ovals from the George cartridge for the eyes, nose and for the peeking dog's paws.  For the hydrant, I cut the base with no cut marks.  I cut it twice, once in red and once in metallic silver and then I layered the silver parts I wanted on the red.

Dogs:            5 1/4"
Food Bowl:     3"
Big Bone:       3"
Hydrant:        6"
Title:             6"
Smaller Bones:  1 1/2, 2, and 2 1/4"

For my third project, I made a tri-fold card using Once Upon a Princess.

For this card, I welded 2 rectanges of different sizes to the bigger rectangle. The smallest rectangle is 4 x 1 1/2, the middle rectangle is 4 x 2 1/2 and the largest for the card base is 4 x 5.  The cupcake is welded to the middle rectangle and is 2 3/4". The word "Birthday" is welded to the smallest rectangle and is 3/4".  You have to remember when doing this to flip your shapes so that when you fold the card you can read the word.  For the paper, I used the Party Time stack by My Mind's Eye.

And now for my last project, I did a layout using Boys Will Be Boys.

For this, I used Echo Park "Little Boy" paper.

The plane       4 1/2"
Dump truck   1 1/2"
Title              2"
Train             1 1/2"
