Santa Was Here

Hello everyone!  Today was Design Team Challenge Friday and we were challenged to do a Christmas Project for Christmas in July week.  On our project we were to have "bling".
For this layout, I used the "Twas the Night Before Christmas" collection from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  The paper is from the "Mistletoe" level 2 paper pack from Close to my Heart.

I added some jewels with my I-rock to the title for the "bling"

Here is a photo mat with a journaling tag poked back behind it.  Here is a tip...most of you probably already know this, but at one time I didn't; The bottom part of the photo mat where the strip of paper goes across is actually like a "pocket".  When you put your photo on the mat, it slides down inside for a little decorative edge on your photo:)

Here I used flower soft for the  "fur" on the stockings.  I used copics to color the fire and then added some Liquid Glass.  For the ornaments on the tree I used stickles glitter and then I added some ribbon around the tree.
Thank you so much for looking at my stuff.  I REALLY do appreciate my followers:)  Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe.

Dear Santa

Since we are having "Christmas in July" over at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs  my project for today is a Christmas Theme layout.
For this layout, I used the Santa from the "Naughty or Nice" collection and the little boy from the "Dear Santa I was Framed collection," both from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

Here I actually had a 3-D sticker that said  "Dear Santa".  The "charms" are actually little wooden charms that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  I then used my cropadile to put holes in them.

Here is a journaling tag.  I pop dotted the pocket so that the tag slips down inside.  It opens up so you can write inside.

Don't forget this week they are having all kinds of giveaways and games over at Little Scraps of Heaven. Pop on over and see what it is all about.  They also still have the logo contest going on for a chance to win free patterns.  You can get details about this on the Design Team blog!

Thanks for looking:)

Today, I thought I would share a few cards I have made over the last couple weeks.  For several of these I used FREE digi stamps that you can find here.

For all three of the above cards, I used the "Party Animal Collection" from Little Scraps of Heaven.  These 2 digi stamps are included in this collection.
For this one, I used the "Fairy Bears Collection" from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
Here I used the "Be my Baby Babies" Collection from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

For these last 3, they are available for free from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs here.

I also want to mention that all week this week, Little Scraps of Heaven is having lots of giveaways and prizes. Check out their fanpage for more details:)  They are also having a logo contest for a chance to win free patterns!  For more details on this you can visit the Design Team blog here.

Just Plane Cute

Here is a layout I made using the "Just Plane Cute" collection from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
I know I have been so bad about my details lately and I am so sorry but all I can remember is that the paper is from DCWV.  I don't remember what stack it is from.

Pull up on the bear, and it pulls the mat up to reveal a hidden photo or journaling:)  The photo only gets attached to the bottom half of the mat to allow it to open up.
Little Scraps of Heaven is having some giveaways this week for Christmas in July so head on over to their fanpage and get the details:)  They are also having a logo contest....you can check out the details for that on the Design Team Blog

I also have some new listings on Ebay so head on over and check those out:)  Thanks for looking and have a great day!:)

Design Team Friday Challenge

It's Design Team Challenge Friday and this week we were challenged to create ‘outside’ the box by creating a project OF a box! My take on this was a card with a candy box attached. I saw this idea on the internet awhile back so I don't know who to give credit to for the idea but I did create the cut files for the boxes.

For these bo
xes, I used several files. They were, the "Rough Edge Bear" pattern, the "Panda Bear" pattern, the "Christmas Elf" pattern, and the "Bear in Pumpkin Costume" pattern all of which come from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

Thanks for looking:)  Have a great weekend everyone!:)

Batter Up

I just wanted to share a simple layout I made.  I made this one with my son in mind.  He plays baseball so I have lots of photos to scrapbook; although, as you can see, I don't have the photos added yet:)  I am a little behind.

For this I used the "Play Ball Bears" collection from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  The paper I got from my local scrapbook store and I don't remember what kind it was.  It wasn't from a stack...they were just individual sheets.  I know it was short and simple today but I hope it gave someone some inspiration:)

Thanks for looking!

Built Boy Tough

Here is a layout I made using the "Built Boy Tough" collection from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
I used 2 different paper stacks.  One was "A Boy's Universe" by the Paper Studio.  The other one I THINK was "All About Boys" from DCWV.  The front cover is missing so I am guessing.

Photo Mats
This one opens up to reveal a photo.  You can also add photos on the 1 inch squares OR you could use them for a little journaling:) You can find a free cut file for this here.

The peeking bear pulls up to reveal a journaling tag.
Thank you for taking a peek and I hop this gave you a few ideas on different ways to make some "hidden" spots.  If you are interested in buying this layout, it is listed on E-bay.   Have a great day!!!!
