I had planned on getting a scrapbook page done but I ended up making more cards. A friend ordered some kids birthday cards and I wanted to have enough on hand to give her a choice. So I have a few more to post.
The first one is a boy birthday card.
You can't tell very well by looking but I embossed the red paper with the swiss dots embossing folder. The image is a digi stamp from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I colored it with copics. I used stickles on the flame and on the cupcake dots. The sentiment comes from the "Critter Party" set by Penny Black. The paper is from the Birthday Extravaganza stack by the Paper Studio. I added a candle border at the top using my candle border punch.

Another boy card.
I used my Birthday embossing folder to emboss the paper. The image is a digi stamp from the Dino Birthday set by Doodle Dragon Studios. I used my copics to color the image. The sentiment comes from the "It's Your Day" stamp set by Close to my Heart.

The next one is a girl birthday card.
The image is a digi stamp is from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I colored it with copics. The sentiment comes from the "Tag the Occasion" set by Close to my Heart. The paper is from the Party Time Stack by My Mind's Eye. I added dew drops and ribbon. I also added stickles to the stars and flowers on the cake.

I have one more girl birthday card.
The image for this also comes from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I colored it with copics. I added stickles to the stars. I added some star brads and some dew drops. The paper is from both my birthday stacks: Birthday Extravaganza by the Paper Studio and also Party Time stack by My Mind's Eye.
The last one is just a general card.
The stamps come from the "Bee Happy" set by Close to my Heart. I colored with copics and added some flowered ribbon on the side. I used my border punch along the side for some added decoration.
A few tips when using copics to color with:
When stamping your image, use Memento Ink. It doesn't bleed. Each copic marker has a number on top. For better blending use between 2-4 markers that are numbered 1 or 2 apart....ie., BG12, BG14, BG 15 etc. Always start with your lightest shade first, then use the next darkest, then go back over it with the lighter to blend it. Do this again with as many shades as you are using. You need to move a quickly since it dries fast. It blends easier when it is wet.
I have never taken classes to learn how to use them but I have watched some videos on Youtube. Here is one I found helpful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZD5xW7lO5I.
Thank you for looking!
