10 Things I Love About You

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Today, I want to share with you a project I made for my Design Team project over at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
I got the idea for this layout from the new Close to my Heart Idea book.  The book had a sample of a layout that had the pocket with "10 things I love about you".  I new I had to do one!:)  The layout is totally different from what is in their book, I just wanted to use the pocket with the "10 things".
For this layout, I used the "Wuff You", and the "Fancy Flourish" collections from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  The paper is the "Sweetheart Level 2" collection from Close to my Heart.

I made a cut file for the pocket.  I cut strips of paper 1" wide by 5" long.  Cut some little decorative squares to add to the tops and added the numbers.  I tied some ribbon around a few of the strips.  I printed the "10 Things I Love About You" on cardstock and then centered it under my spellbinders die and cut it out.  I embossed the red paper with the heart blocks cuttlebug folder.  Then I added some dew drops and liquid pearls.
Here is a close up of one of the flourishes.  I added hearts to them.  I ran the hearts through my xyron and then sprinkled them with Martha Stewart glitter.  I added a few tags with sentiments and stitched the photo mats.
Close up of dog.  I embossed the word "Love" with clear embossing powder and added some stitching with my white gel pen.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my project.  I would love to know what you think!  If you don't yet follow me on facebook you can find me under Precious Memories by Julie.  Also, if you're interested in buying this layout, you can find it on Ebay.  Thanks and have a wonderful day!
